Heartlands Service for the Waimate District
Provide FREE. confidential Financial Mentors for those who are struggling with their financial situation
Manage the Waimate Community Foodbank
Provide rooms at Community Link House for health, education and social services to use to meet with their clients. Limited space may also be available for private hire subject to availability.
Booking Service for the Waimate Community Vehicle
Total Mobility Assessor for the Waimate District
Produce & maintain the Waimate Community Info website which includes a database of all clubs and organisations in Waimate
Provide information on Social Services available in the Waimate District
Funding, governace and strategic advice and support for Clubs & Organisations
Advocate on behalf of our community for better outcomes for Waimate
Foster and encourage Community Development in Waimate
Work with the team at Waimate District Council - Emergency Management to provide community support during times of emergency
Printing and photocopying, laminating, binding documents and email service (free service for employment or government services, otherwise a small fee will apply)

Our Community Coordinators are happy to sit and chat with you about your situation, and give you links into services and support to suit your needs.
We work with a lot of social services, community organisations and government departments - and if we don’t know where you should start, we will be able to reach out to our networks to find out.
