Community Link House
In 2019 we secured the lease of the old Waimate Medical Centre and have been able to establish the central hub that we have always wanted. Community Link House is not just where we work from, but it also provides rooms for a wide variety of other services to work from when they are in Waimate. We have multiple spaces available with video conferencing facilities. You can find out more below.
Community Vehicle
Community Link are the booking agents for the Waimate Community Vehicle. This essential community service runs from 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday and is available to all for a very affordable fare. There is always a car based in Waimate, as well as others that can take clients to Oamaru or Timaru for appointments. Click the link to find out more.
Total Mobility
Community Link are the approved assessor in Waimate for Total Mobility. This transport subsidy is administered by Environment Canterbury and can make it significant more affordable to get out and about. An ideal option for those who are unable to drive for medical or mobility reasons. The card can be used across New Zealand. Learn more below.
