Community Link coordinate support for our community during Covid 19 outbreaks, and restrictions - as well as make sure you have access to the latest updates and information, services available.

We maintain a register of vulnerable people who may need support during lockdowns (or any other adverse event). You can register anytime at the link below to be added to our list.

We believe that the current guidelines are a great move to keep our community safe, but we don’t want it to be any harder than it needs to be - we are here to help you.

We work closely with the awesome team at Waimate Civil Defence Emergency Management, MSD and the DHB to ensure that our community have access to the essentials during emergencies - and this includes during lockdown and significant covid 19 outbreaks.

You may need help accessing groceries, or other essential services if the levels change - by registering with us we will be able to contact you and ensure you have the support you need.

We always encourage you in the first instance, to seek support and assistance from your family and friends - however we know that this is not always possible and we have a service in place to help you in this situation.

What is most important to us is that if you fit the criteria as a vulnerable person, or you have be asked to self isolate - you are able to stay safe at home - and let us work with our community partners to get you what you need.

We also provide a caring caller service, where a friendly local volunteer will phone you regularly and see how you are, and make sure you have everything that you need. If you would like to have this support please fill out the form below.
